The Tropical Storm Allison Recovery Project continues to provide information to the public as soon at it becomes available. TSARP products, such as, the TSARP Event Analysis, LiDAR, 2-Foot Contours, and the Benchmark Control Network have already been released and TSARP is now announcing the release of workmaps, HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS computer models, and channel profiles for certain watersheds that are complete. This Flood Hazard Recovery Data will be released on March 8th.

This is the first of many products that will be coming out of the TSARP project in 2003. It contains detailed technical data about Tropical Storm Allison and other historical storms that will be used in the future in the TSARP project to develop new Flood Insurance Rate Maps. The report also contains information about certain scenarios that look at what would have happened if Tropical Storm Allison had moved a few miles to the West and a look at historical floodplains in Harris County.
